Brain's Exercise
Sometimes it feels like a hack, a few reps of bench press give more to my brain than a cigarette.
If you want energy for your brain, you need to take care of your body.
By Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky in their book Make Time
I understood this a year ago when I was close to giving up on my entire entrepreneurship journey.
It's funny how every entrepreneur is different, yet every single one of them reaches a point where they say, "I can't do this anymore" in their mother tongue.
But the point is, when I started working out, my outlook on certain things changed. Instead of wanting to give up on the day, I started looking forward to it.
I prefer going to the gym in the evenings after I finish my work. Some of you prefer going in the mornings to energize your day.
Either way, working out has really given me a different approach to life.
Instead of eating junk food all year long, I now only indulge once or twice a week and enjoy the little fat it puts on my body xD.
I mean, it's all just to say that once you take care of your physical shape, your body generates the necessary energy for the brain.
