Feature or Problems?
Is the focal point of the company is to come up with solutions to problems or just add more fancy features?
Success is not delivering a feature; success is learning how to solve the customer’s problem.
By Eric Ries in his book The Lean Startup
Let's say, for example, that you own a company that helps in killing mosquitoes with your mobile phone.
The focal point of the company is to come up with solutions to mosquito problems and not just add more fancy features.
Does it make sense to add fancy features to the app that kills bed bugs and houseflies as well?
Or do you really think people just need to buy an All-Out or a mosquito bat to sleep in peace?
It's necessary to understand that solving the pain point for customers is far more important than adding ’n’ number of features to your fancy app.
Though, it would be really cool to have an app that kills mosquitoes 😅
