First figure out where you want to finish. Then work backward to set up everything you need to get you there.
By Steven Pressfield and Shawn Coyne in their book Nobody Wants to Read Your Sh*t: Why That Is And What You Can Do About It
When you start a business or embark on your content creation journey, start by setting a goal.
The goal doesn't necessarily have to be financial; it depends on the niche.
In my personal experience, setting actionable S.M.A.R.T Goals has worked brilliantly!
When I first started my small South Indian Restaurant, my goal was to achieve break-even revenue within 90 days. My main focus was on selling tea as a loss leader and converting customers to have a meal.
And guess what? I did not achieve it xD.
For a moment, you may have thought I was going to say that it worked magically, but the reality was different.
I somehow achieved the goal after 150 days, and it was quite a journey. :P
The point is to set a goal and work backward from it. My goal was clear, to break even in 90 days. Every strategy I had in place was aimed at achieving that.
