The Indian captain's every move is headline news and it was no easy task to protect myself from the constant media glare.
By Sachin Tendulkar in his autobiography Playing it my way
Hiding from the media isn't easy when you're in the public eye.
Indian media is relentless, always searching for opportunities to tarnish your reputation.
Their priority? Crafting click-worthy stories.
Controlling the media? Only a select few can, and it requires disproportionate wealth.
Take public limited companies as an example. Founders and CEOs are constantly scrutinized.
Analysis and questions are fair game, but there should be limits.
Kunal Shah, Deepinder Goyal, and Vijay Shekar Sharma faced ridicule for years. It took incredible resilience and relentless effort to prove them wrong.
My advise, stay away from the media spotlight as much as possible.
