Hey,
This week’s edition is dedicated to everyone who used to be obsessed with reading as a child. I take immense pride in receiving a star on my hand from my library teacher throughout primary school for being an avid reader and participating in all discussions.
However, like many of you, I lost the habit of immersing myself in a book. Sometimes, reading felt like a chore, something that I added pressure to do along the way.
But throughout the past year, I made a commitment to myself to pick up any book, even if it was just 99 pages, and read at least one book a week.
I successfully completed this 52-week journey, reading 40 books, and I won't say it was a bad number!
Here are 3️⃣ things that significantly contributed to maintaining consistency in my reading journey:
🌱 Create a Reading Environment: I loved this corner in my house with a round sofa, some planters, and a diffuser that truly put me in a calming mood to read. What’s one place that would really calm you down?
⏰ Prioritize Reading Time: I mean it! Put it down in your to-do list for the day to read at least 15 pages of a book every single day. Yes, it will feel like a chore, but once you build the habit, you’ll be grateful that you started.
🤝🏻 Join a Book Club: This was something I searched for endlessly in my journey! So, I got together with
and decided to build the largest community of non-fiction book readers. Click here!If you're someone who is looking to make your reading journey extremely fun-filled and accountable, join us on this enriching adventure!
⚡️Book I’m reading this week & why:
This week I wanted to pick a book that I’ve read and enjoyed previously - “Steal like an Artist” by Austin Kleon.
That book sparked my creativity and showed me how to draw inspiration from everything around me. I’m in a tough spot on my content creation journey, but I am certain this book will bring the much-needed comfort and advice.

🎯 January Challenge:
Join me in this month for the - “Walk & Read” challenge where we take care of both our body & mind 🤝🏻
The challenge is simple; every time you pick up a book - start walking while you read it. Share your step count with me down in the comments!
My step count average for week 4: 3,210 steps
👀 Quote of the week:
“What would you do if there were no way you could fail?"
Me too sometimes felt inconsistent in reading books...I'm trying hard to complete a book for every week... Because now it's hard for me to complete a book per month... I want change this for sure 💯
