Hey,
As you know, I had been reading “How to become a people magnet” by Marc Reklau last week and I am so excited to share with you the lessons I learned from this book:
“When you are telling them what they are doing wrong, also let them know how they can do it right.” As a business owner, I often encounter situations where my employees are doing something incorrectly or in a way that doesn't lead to 100% satisfaction for our clients.
The approach I've learned to tackle these situations is to be solution-oriented. I communicate what went wrong, share my own experiences, and guide them on how to make it right, promoting a healthy and growing organizational culture.
“People who speak positively at the start of the day tend to experience their day as much more positive, meeting with much more opportunities.” We both know this, but we also know that we needed to hear this! Amidst the chaos, we often forget to look forward to the positivity each day brings.
Now, if I wake up with a stressful thought, I take a step back and assure myself that I’ll succeed when I get to it, choosing to enjoy the present moment instead.
“Be the example you want to see in the world.” Growing up, I often felt that there weren’t enough women publicizing their victories. I sensed a lack of role models to emulate or learn from in the fields I was interested in.
This realization prompted me to aspire to become an example my younger self would look up to, and this book serves as a reminder for me to continue in that pursuit.
I highly recommend this book to someone determined to build a reading habit. It's a simple and easy-to-read book available on Amazon!
⚡️Book I’m reading this week & why:
This week, I picked up a book that our subscriber, Karuthukannamma, is currently reading! It's titled "$100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No" by Alex Hormozi.
Her suggestion came at the perfect time, just as I am restructuring the pricing and pitching of services offered at my agency. The key to closing any sale is that the offer has to be so well-structured that it compels prospects to say YES! I'm confident that this read will assist me in structuring it more effectively.
