“Happiness, like unhappiness, is a proactive choice.”
By Stephen R. Covey in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
Yesterday, March 20th, marked International Day of Happiness.
I invite you to join me in reflecting on some essential questions:
What does happiness mean to you? Define it in your own terms.
Are you currently experiencing happiness? If not, what immediate steps can you take to move towards it?
What do you perceive as the major obstacles standing in the way of your happiness?
Does your concept of happiness rely on material possessions or external circumstances?
If you answered 'No' to the second question, it may seem challenging to identify sources of happiness in your life right now.
Let's revisit the question together.
Think of at least three moments that brought a smile to your face in the past few days.
Remember, happiness often resides in the simplest of things.
Don't wait for happiness to come to you.
Put on your shoes, step out of your comfort zone, and actively seek it out.
